Fuel pump video ads in most countries soon via EK3 & Dresser Wayne

Digital merchandising experts EK3 have teamed up globally with fuel pump manufacturers Dresser Wayne to install digital signage in 115 countries. The narrowcast platform uses business data to customise streaming video displays embedded in the petrol pump.

Station owners will be able to customise promotions, offer printable coupons, build brand loyalty and even select day-parts - such as promoting coffee and breakfast foods in the morning and soft drinks and snacks in the afternoon. The medium also offers new local advertising opportunities.

The partnership is already operating in the US at many BP and The Home Depot gas stations. A European launch is expected in September 2007.
