Danish RFID bottles link movement to audio

Audiobar

A Danish artist has linked RFID chips on bottles to audio tracks for an art installation at the The Museum for Contemporary Art Roskilde, Denmark.
Mogens Jacobsen was asked by the gallery to develop a concept for presenting their huge collection of international audio art.

Audiobar (Hørbar) is the result. It is a bar room where visitors can interact with sounds using bottles that are tagged with RFID chips. The bottle labels have words like ’slow’ and ‘noisy’ printed on them. Moving the bottles activates sounds that match the words.
